“I believe that her experience and working style will help us to grow even faster than before,” said Andrei Grachev, co-founder of DWF Labs.

Eugene Ng was also removed from his position at OpenEden. The former partner at DWF Labs allegedly attempted to drug a job applicant during a meeting in Hong Kong.

The incident reportedly occurred on October 24, 2024, when a woman identified as “Hana” met Ng for a job-related discussion at a bar. While Hana was in the bathroom, Ng allegedly spiked her drink, an act witnessed by bar staff who later informed her about it.

Upon returning to the table, Hana began feeling dizzy and claimed that Ng tried to coerce her into going to his hotel suite under the pretense of offering her more information about a potential job. She later reported the incident to the police and provided surveillance footage as evidence.

Authorities are investigating the incident, supported by CCTV footage showing Ng’s alleged actions, Hana said in a series of tweets.

Ng’s social media accounts were made private following these allegations.

DWF Labs swiftly addressed the situation, dismissing Ng from all managerial and operational roles and launching an internal investigation. The company, however, did not delve into details about the scandal.
